Being in the rug industry for over two decades. The Barjis Rug studio has been serving the hotel, commercial and residential interiors market with its bespoke rugs and carpets.
Our story started from humble beginnings.. Barjis Chohan the Designer and Founder of Barjis London was heavily pregnant with her first child. She found painting therapeutic and was worrying how she will manage looking after a baby and working in the fashion industry. She had an eureka moment and felt that her paintings would look great at rugs. After giving birth, she produced some samples of her paintings and then started approaching clients. This took her to Dubai, where she worked on several projects, dragging her mother and husband so that she can breastfeed her baby during meetings.
Over time she grew her business one project at a time and is still designing and producing her rugs for high end clients around the world.

Do you provide samples?
You can view our samples, for bespoke work, once designs are finalised, we’ll create a sample in your design to approve the colours and texture.

50% before production.
