Montcalm Hotel
Part of Marriott Hotel Group · London
Hand-tufted carpets supplied and installed across the dining area, lobby, and corridors of this prestigious Marriott-group property in London. Striking shades and exquisite quality materials were central to the brief, each piece contributing to the hotel’s bold, design-forward identity.
From geometric floor rugs in vivid red, navy, and cream to bespoke wall-hung pieces and expansive lobby carpets in rich terracotta, every element was crafted to complement the hotel’s architectural language.

Fulham Townhouse

Premium sisal carpet runners in a classic herringbone weave, installed throughout the staircase and landings of this beautifully appointed Fulham townhouse.
Each runner was finished with a custom black border — a sharp, considered detail that defines the edge of the natural fibre and anchors the runner against the property’s crisp white paintwork and glass balustrades. The result is understated, elegant, and built to last.
State Grid Training Centre
A large-scale custom hand-tufted commission for the lobby and corridors of the State Grid Training Centre, a prestigious institutional project demanding both grandeur and durability.
Barjis designed and supplied bespoke hand-tufted carpets across multiple areas: an ornate lobbying rug featuring a classic scrollwork field with a Greek key border in champagne and gold, full-floor suites in a flowing botanical motif, and striking corridor runners in bold gold-and-chocolate and abstract multi-colour patterns, each tailored to the character of its space.

Shangri-La Hotel
An elegant custom Axminster commission spanning the restaurant area, corridors, lobby, and reception of one of the world’s most iconic luxury hospitality brands.
Barjis supplied individually designed Axminster carpets for each area — bold geometric patterns in deep red and gold for reception and lobby corridors, rich amber florals for private dining spaces, vivid fuchsia and pink for the restaurant lounge, and warm gold stripe runners for the guest-floor corridors.
Each design was tailored to enhance the drama and character of its space while maintaining the premium durability Axminster demands.
Health Spa

A bespoke Axminster commission for the health spa at Montcalm East Hotel, one of London’s most distinctive design-led properties.
Barjis designed and supplied a series of custom Axminster rugs and runners in a refined palette of blush, ivory, and sand each piece featuring delicate pinstripe detailing. The collection was specified to complement the spa’s candlelit, botanical atmosphere, with circular and asymmetric formats laid across the lounge and corridor, softening the dramatic dark panelling and geometric textiles throughout.

A classic beige herringbone sisal staircase runner installed throughout the stairwells of City Clinics London. Finished with polished brass stair rods, the installation combines timeless natural fibre elegance with precise detailing — a clean, understated solution for a professional clinical environment.
The herringbone weave adds visual texture and depth while maintaining a neutral, light palette suited to the clinic’s refined interiors.
Dubai Bone and Joint Centre
Commissioned for the landmark Dubai Bone and Joint Centre, located on level 50 of Emirates Towers, Barjis London designed and crafted bespoke wall panels for this prestigious healthcare space, one of the first of its kind to deliver an elevated standard of medical care in the region.
The brief demanded quality and refinement befitting the centre’s reputation, with panel work that combined considered design with the durability and finish required for a high-traffic clinical environment.
