EDITORS NOTE

The Evoke Tablemat was inspired by the diaspora communities of the South Asian communities.  Taking visual collage of childhood memories, historical references memories and how we can create a sense of nostalgia through imagery. The historical references were taken from South Asian books, with decorative motifs to evoke an emotional and nostalgic feeling within us.

The name Evoke was given by a  follower and it truly defines the essence of this collection. It depicts an era we hear from our grandparents and always wished that we had lived in.
