We would like to thank Islam Channel for this recognition, I hope this will enable us to reach a new audience, form collaborations and we hope it will inspire people to follow their dreams.
Being in a competitive field such as Fashion; we always believed in doing things differently. It was a brave decision to introduce high-end modest Fashion in the UK. Surrounded by low-end commercial brands and with limited resources; our only weapon was our creativity, originality and creating ethical fashion. All our work is made in the UK, fabrics are sourced ethically, our prints are hand painted in the studio and our supply chain is rigorously vetted – to ensure that we are producing goods that are not exploiting people.
The industry is not aware that Barjis is a Contemporary Fashion and lifestyle brand; we have been producing high-end rugs and wall hangings since the year 2000. These luxury rugs are commissioned by corporates and residential clients around the world. We have been privileged to design for Emirates Towers in Dubai, Landmark House in London, Hotel George, Hotel Cayre in Paris, Berkeley Group and many more… Our aim in 2019, is to diversify our product range in both Fashion and Interiors.
